Yangjiang borders on the south sea and has more than 20 beaches which could be developed. The whole length of those beaches is 51.8 kilometers and they are very clear & beautiful. Dajiao Bay in Hailing Island, Mawei Island, Ten-mile Silver Beach, Beiluo Gulf, Yangxi Moon Gulf, Yangdong Dongping Pearl Bay are the topping beaches in Southeaster Asia. Especially the Ten-mile Silver Beach which is 7.4 kilometers is honored the title of “China Largest Bathing Place”by China Records for its large scale and clear water, sand.

　　There is more than 100 kilometers Karst physiognomy at the upper middle valley of Moyang River, which forms various Karst cave sights. The Lingxiao Cave which is honored “Southland Top Place of Interest”, Yuxi Three Caves, Chunwan Stone Forest, Longgong Cave, Kongdong Cave, the King Fish Rock are very famous caves in Yangjiang and have become important locations for domestic, Hongkong, Taiwan films & teleplays.

　　Yangjiang is situated at the west of Guangzhou-Yangjiang fracture zone and has an abundant resource of geothermy. 23 places of hotspring have been found in Yangjiang. Among them the hotsprings which have tourism value are : Gangmei Hotspring, Xinzhou Hotspring, Pinggang Hotspring, Rudong Hotspring, Heshan Hotspring, Chunwan Hotspring, Bajia Hotspring and so on.

　　Tianlu Mountain is situated at northeast of Yangjiang and Yunwu Mountain is situated at northwest of Yangjiang. Yangjiang has abundant resources of forest and waterfall. Ehuang zhang Provincial Nature Reserve is honored “Endangered Vegetable Kingdom” and “Yangjiang Highest Mountain”. Baishui Waterfall is honored “Guangdong Top Waterfall”. East Lake Tourism Zone includes 108 small islands. There are beautiful mountains and clear waters in this zone.

　　Moreover, Yangjiang has a long history and conserves many ancient cultural relics such as Beishan Stone Pagoda, Tongzhen Cave, Fossil Human Cave Relic.

　　After Yangjiang became a city in 1988, Yangjiang treats tourism as its pillar industry and has established, actualized tourism general plan which receives good effects. Now, there are a series of important places of interests such as Dajiao Bay, Ten-mile Silver Beach, Pearl Bay, Shapa Bathing Place, Chunwan – Lingxiao Cave, Yuxi Three Caves, Kongdong Cave, Longgong Cave, East Lake Tourism Zone, Xinzhou Hotspring Tourism Zone, Yangjiang Hotspring Resort, Chundu Hotspring, Daao Fishing Village, Yangxi Lady Ye Eco Park in Yangjiang.

　　Yangjiang holds Yangjiang Culture Tourism Festival every year which gathers tourism, culture, gymnastics, exhibition, commerce and elevates influence and popularity of Yangjiang at the same time. Zhapo Dajiao Bay in Hailing Island was evaluated as National 4A Grade Resort in 2000. Yangjiang was evaluated as “China Excellent Tourist City” in 2001. Yangchun Chunwan – Lingxiao Cave was evaluated as National Geological Park in 2003. Hailing Island was evaluated as one of “Top 10 Beautiful Islands in China”by China National Geographic Magazine and is the only one which has been evaluated in Guangdong Province. The declaration from Yangjiang for “the Hometown of Hotspring”has been passed in 2008 and Hailing Island was evaluated as“China Most Special Tourist Destination”in World Tourism Summit, 2008.
